M.P. Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Co. Ltd, Jabalpur, M.P. Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Co Ltd, Indore , M.P. Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Co. Ltd, Bhopal and M.P. Power Transmission Co. Ltd, Jabalpur, the successor companies of M.P.State Electricity Board incorporated to undertake activities of transmission, distribution and retail supply of electricity in the State of Madhya Pradesh.

The four companies intend to recruit Executive Trainees (Electrical). M.P.Poorv Kshetra V.V.Co.Ltd., invites application from the eligible candidate for the advertised posts for self and on behalf of other three Companies.

The selected candidate after a stipulated period of training will be employed in the Company cadre of the Company for which he is selected and will take up the role of Assistant Engineer.

As an Assistant Engineer the person shall be responsible for electricity transmission and distribution activities. The person shall also be responsible for the statutory and management reporting, interface with the field office and executive level office. The companies are looking for promising young executives with brilliant academic career.

NOTE:

1. The number of posts is subject to change as per requirement
2. The reservation of posts meant for SC/ST & OBC shall be applicable only for the candidates of Madhya Pradesh Domicile. Such candidates should submit a proof of Domicile in MP State.
3. The SC/ST category candidates belonging to other States shall however be given relaxation in eligibility criteria of educational qualification and reimbursement of fare for attending written test/personal interview only.
 
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :

The candidate should be a graduate in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a University recognized by University Grants Commission, with minimum 65% marks in aggregate in case of General & OBC category candidates and 55% in case of SC/ST category candidates. The candidates appearing in final Semester/year exam of the Electrical Engineering may also apply and in such cases the average marks prior to the final year/semester should be minimum 65% and 55% respectively for General/OBC and SC/ST categories.

AGE LIMIT:

The age of the candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 27 years as on 01.07.2009. SC / ST /OBC categories and widow /Divorcee lady candidates / Ex. serviceman will get relaxation in upper age limit to an extent of five years.

SELECTION PROCESS:

The eligible candidates will have to undertake a written test comprising of questions in Electrical Engineering, Logical Reasoning and General Knowledge. Based on the requirement & merit, the successful candidates will be called for Personal interview for final selection. The probable date of written test is 23rd August 09.

TRAINING DURATION AND STIPEND:

All the selected candidates will undergo a 12 months training. If the performance of the candidates during the training is not found satisfactory, their selection shall be liable for cancellation. The Executive Trainee shall be paid a fixed stipend @ Rs. 12,500/- per month during the training period. The total cost to Company shall be Rs.2.5 lakh per annum during the training period. After successful completion of training the candidates shall be appointed to the post of Assistant Engineer or equivalent in the selected Company cadre.

REMUNERATION:

On regular appointment as Assistant Engineer the applicable pay scale will be as per corresponding scale of Rs.15600-39100 in Pay Band-3. In addition to above, DA and other benefits etc. shall also be applicable as per rules. The appointed Assistant Engineers shall be eligible for the Defined Contributory Pension Scheme. The total employee cost to Company shall be about Rs.3.5 lakh per annum on initial appointment.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1. The candidates working in Govt. /Semi Govt. / Public Sector satisfying the eligibility criteria education and age shall have to apply through proper channel
2. The working employees of MPSEB may also apply as per eligibility. "No age limit is applicable for them".
3. The reservation of posts meant for SC/ST & OBC shall be applicable only for the candidates of Madhya Pradesh Domicile. Such candidates should submit a proof of Domicile in MP State.
4. The SC/ST category candidates belonging to other States shall however be given relaxation in eligibility criteria of educational qualification and age limit.
5. The selected candidates will be required to execute a Service Agreement Bond to successfully complete the prescribed training and thereafter to serve the Company for at least 5 year.
6. Any dispute arising out of this selection process will be dealt within the jurisdiction of Jabalpur Courts only.
7. All SC/ST candidates will be reimbursed to & fro IInd class Rail / Bus fare by the shortest route for appearing in the written test and personal interview, as per rule, limited to the test centre from the address mentioned in the applications or from where they have actually performed the journey whichever is minimum.
8. The candidates, who have a third child born on or after 26.01.2001, are not eligible to apply.
9. The candidates must possess sound health.
